Sir Mick Jagger front man for the iconic band The Rolling Stones will undergo heart surgery to replace a damaged heart valve. The 75 year old was forced to postpone an upcoming nine week NO FILTER tour across the U.S.A. and Canada according to an article published in Drudge Report.
It is not unusual for someone to have heart surgery- it happens everyday. What makes this news, is that it is MICK JAGGER. Imagine a 75 year old still rock’n and roll’n fifty years after the British Invasion in the ’60’s. It truly is a marvelous feat. Sir Mick has stayed active in the music scene and The Rolling Stones band continues to sell out concerts to adoring fans all over the world.
I pray that his heart surgery will be successful and that he will make a full recovery. After all, millions of fans still crave to see those large lips belt out the tune Brown Sugar.
And THE BEAT GOES ON- Hopefully!
